I am a gay, Latinx trauma therapist who uses evidence based practices that include, but are not limited to: CBT, Trauma CBT, DBT, MI, ACT, and IFS. I specialize in navigating complex trauma, anxiety, depression, and stress with the goal of helping you integrate your whole self into your everyday life.
We are a sum of multiple versions of ourselves that are in constant competition with each other due to societal, cultural, and personal priorities. Priorities that we were born into or don’t even have the words or awareness to describe. I utilize a bicultural, person-centered lens that integrates social justice at the forefront.
Having worked with populations affected by inter generational, socio-economic, and intersectional identities I always prioritize asking:
· How do we navigate environments that don’t, or can’t, understand who we are?
· How do we show up for ourselves in the most authentic way?
These are questions I look forward to helping you integrate into your life together.

I am an associate marriage and family therapist clinical counselor in California. I received my Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University as a member of Psi Chi Honor Society.
My clinical training includes working with adults, couples, and adolescents through a positive psychology lens and focuses on the concept of healing through an integrative approach that encompasses various treatment modalities, such as:
-
Pyschodynamic
-
CBT
-
Somatic techniques
-
Motivational Interviewing
-
Humanistic
I am drawn towards treating clients who are challenged in areas of trauma, substance abuse, behavioral issues, and interpersonal struggles by providing a space for clients to be their truest self, to help them create more balance in their lives, break free from old patterns, and to expand their natural capacity to heal.
It is an honor and a blessing for me to be a partner in this healing relationship with clients, your families, and your partners.

I am a passionate therapist who works as a guide for clients on their journey of self-understanding and healing. Using various modalities, including trauma-informed, Psychodynamic, and IFS (Internal Family Systems) theories, I believe that as survivors of negative life experiences and environments, we hold on to skills and protections that are no longer serving us. Collaboratively, we will work to build an understanding of how our life experiences interact, and work together to build new skills to integrate a better way of living. We will weave through the process in a way that feels right for your journey.
My experience in supportive healing began before graduate school as a victim advocate and re-entry case manager which positioned me into leaning on supporting, guiding, and growing my advocacy skills that I had been practicing for years. My approach to being a therapist has stemmed from my own life lessons and has greatly influenced how to navigate the challenges that you face.
I look forward to working with and being part of your journey.
