Marriage and FamilyTherapy

Whether it's an individual, a couple or family, we use a client centered, trauma informed, race & social justice lens to help you develop a deeper connection to what is meaningful for you.  Our work together will provide a chance to create a new path of understanding, equipping you with tools and skills to grow.

Therapy with queer, trans and/or non-binary identified individuals (teens through adults) meets at the intersection of mental health and race & social justice. We also support poly, non-monogamy, kink and BDSM dynamics. We will develop a plan that will support your liberation, your understanding and awareness, and your overall felt sense of how you want to walk in this world and heal.  Your journey in the world fits your truth, and we are committed to help you discover it.

Somatic Experiencing

Somatic Experiencing is a body-centered approach to treating PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) that, rather than focusing only on thoughts or emotions associated with a traumatic event, expands to include the natural bodily (somatic) responses.  SE helps people “build awareness, coherence and self-regulation." The result is a deeper understanding of the body/mind connection with improved ability to release and regulate emotions. It also helps manage stress, resolve issues related to trauma, heal from and navigate life transitions, relationships and build resilience.

For individual SE sessions and therapy, please contact Sage Williams, SEP, LMFT.

Fees: $250

Sage Williams provides SE credited sessions for somatic experiencing students beginning year through intermediate year.
